No drugs for you!

I wanted to share some pictures of Kaila, my best friend from age 2-20. She died of a heroin overdose. She's my largest inspiration to stay clean and be grateful for life right now. I don't think she thought her death would effect anybody, and I think that's why she gave up so easily. I don't want to make the same mistake she made. I don't want to be another dead derelict. Her death was one of the most painful things I've gone through in my life so far, I promised myself I would never touch heroin... and look what I've become. A fucking junkie.

Any way, today is day 6. Tomorrow marks 1 full week of sobriety. That's kind of exciting. I'm proud of myself. No drinking, no drugs, nothing... for the first time in my life since I was 14 years old. This is fucking weird. Good, but weird.

I'm actually not that bad a person... I just hope this sticks.
